I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

This is a significant frame, well composed and that deep red really attracts the eye.

18 Jul 2013 7:51am

@Curly: Thanks! The red attracted my eye, that's for sure... the "lens" adds a bit of richness, but this was in the middle of a fairly seedy bar so it stood out, even in a half stupor :-)

A fantastic image! I like the delicate petals on the rustic wooden floor.

18 Jul 2013 5:10pm

@Steve Rice: Thanks! It's pretty much how it looked to me at the time, too :-)

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

I like the low viewpoint - the scatter of red really draws my eyes.

@Ruthiebear: Thanks.. and yes it does. I've actually taken quite a few shots of flower petals this season, a few more post worthy ones may follow :-)

@Harry: Moody for sure, thanks a lot!

Abena from Illinois, United States

I LOVE the feeling here, the red petals on the floor are genius! They convey hurt as they look like they've been trampled on, it's poetic to me. The blur and character behind are great too and I love the title and link you put with the image. That song is beautiful.

19 Jul 2013 4:19am

@Abena: Thanks a lot! I can't take credit for the petals themselves and I do wonder how they ended up there... but it seemed poetic to me too :-) And thanks once again for taking the time to check out the tune! I love Band of Horses!
