Especially if it's carved into the table.

I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

Ah, the need to memorialise yourself for ever. Even famous politicians do it

@CElliottUK: Maybe I'll start a gang! If that fails, can I be in your gang? Is it still about belonging if you write the name of the establishment you're in? Or does that just mean the "meeting" got a little out of hand?

Devi from Chennai, India

all I can see is the emerald sheen and the wooden board towards the top...I love the light and the green here :-)

@Devi: Do you see the dotted carving at the bottom right... "The Cambie" :-)

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

Abena from Illinois, United States

Cool, I had to google up Cambie:) Gorgeous textures and hues. I like that it has a sort of ethereal feel with the greens and the dots and that's beautiful in it's own odd way :-))

@Abena: I almost want to google the cambie to see how others describe it. I used to frequent it when I was younger.. pretty much everyone has frequented it at one point in their partying lives. Now it's not somewhere you ever plan to go... you just end up there every now and then. Those are the nights you tell stories about afterwards :-)
