I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

Shaahin Bahremand from Tehran, Iran

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

Doesn't the bloke just wearing the orange pullover know how cold it is up there?

1 Apr 2013 8:59am

@CElliottUK: Ha... he does, actually but he was overheating on the way up so I guess he was just cooling off here.

Stephen from Canberra, Australia

Magnificent view and I like the foreground interest - sometimes you can get too close to the edge - as with tthe guy in the red!

1 Apr 2013 9:02am

@Stephen: I took a shot from near where he is looking out... there was even one barefoot hippie that had scrambled part of the way down the cliff for a more private view.

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

A very powerful image. People up and down ... looks and goes. It is admiring the scenery ... There is great strength in it ... I like... Best regards, Adela

@Adela Fonts: Yes, it's always interesting to me to notice how different people spend their time up there and how long they stay.

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Nice framing for a blend of immediate company and distant viewing.

@Rick: Thanks a lot, R!

franz from Baden, Austria

very nice visual proof of that dictionary entry ...
looks like a rather cold day, with everyone huddling into their parkas !
(is this north vancouver, by any chance ?!?)

1 Apr 2013 5:30pm

@franz: It was freezing! And I was watching my friends scatter and take in the scene..... This is in Nelson, BC but I have lots of pics from Vancouver's north shore :-)

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

Fabulous view point!

@Ruthiebear: Thanks!

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

What an amazing vantage point

@Doug: Thanks!

Abena from Illinois, United States

I love your vantage point and the fun friendly/intimate like feel. Apart from the epic view, I really like that the guy siting on the rock alone has his back turned. I get a very 'Rusted Root - Send Me On My Way' type of mood. Cool!

2 Apr 2013 1:25am

@Abena: Interesting you say that..... he was my traveling companion :-)

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

Looks like you found a great one!

2 Apr 2013 9:29pm

@Steve Rice: It was quite the hike, but in the end, I think so too :-)

Basile Pesso from Between, Spain

This view is stunning, and the integration of the people in it is interesting, especially the red one.

2 Apr 2013 9:52pm

@Basile Pesso: Thanks... everyone focused on that guy. Weird.

Yasmin from Vancouver, Canada

wonderful...where is this beautiful view?

5 Apr 2013 8:18am

@Yasmin: Nelson, BC... a hike called pulpit rock
