Raincouver

Posted by
Mooie (Vancouver, Canada) on 16 March 2013 in Animal & Insect.

It has been very wet in my city this week and I know exactly how this poor little guy feels.

I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

le traitement des couleurs est superbe

@rem_la: Merci! I tried to make it a bit brighter :-)

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

Lovin' the title! Poor 'lil chap, dumped in the rain, waiting for his owner to re-appear

16 Mar 2013 7:55am

@CElliottUK: I know, poor little guy - And he just stared at the door the whole time, it was pretty cute!

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

He looks so cute, we can put on a coat that's waterproof his just gets wet. Lovely capture Mooie

16 Mar 2013 8:38am

@Doug: That would be way too cute!

Lewis from Ljouwert, Netherlands

Sweet little fella, avoiding draught, great capture

16 Mar 2013 8:40am

@Lewis: Thanks... though he wasn't all that successful with the avoiding :-(

Devi from Chennai, India

Lovely title !!! And he does look worried

16 Mar 2013 8:44am

@Devi: Yes, he was not concerned as much with being wet as with being left

Basile Pesso from Paris, France

Sad and well titled.

16 Mar 2013 9:26am

@Basile Pesso: Thanks! (even though the tilt was not planned :-))

tataray from france, France

ohhhh le pauvre.... triste !...)

16 Mar 2013 1:18pm

Mandar from Kudal, India

So poor...

16 Mar 2013 6:07pm

@Mandar: But only for a little while!

Abena from Illinois, United States

That dog is really cute! poor thing. Love the wordplay in your title and the framing with the word Vancouver. As for the rain, all you need is a brolly :) (you know the see through umbrellas? Yeah, those !)

16 Mar 2013 7:11pm

@Abena: I definitely could have used a brolly that day!!

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

What a delightful little dog. Be thankful for rain. It has been snowing here all day. It is like a blizzard out there.

16 Mar 2013 8:01pm

@Ruthiebear: Ha, thanks for the reminder that there are worse things than rain!

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

He and all like him living on the streets of the citys of the world... !

16 Mar 2013 9:51pm

@Adela Fonts: Oh it's alright, he has a home... his mum or dad just left him outside a record shop for a few minutes! But yes, there are many sad puppy dog cases out there :(

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

That poor, sweet babe out in the rain. It's just not fair that he has to sit there; at least, he thinks that and so do I. You got a great shot of him. It's been wet here all week, too. It was really coming down earlier today.

16 Mar 2013 10:32pm

@Steve Rice: This particular 30 minute spell of rain was insane... literally buckets, poor little fella! I think he was more worried that his owner had left him than the fact that he was getting wet!

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Superb composition and colors . A great atmosphere but ..poor little dog !

17 Mar 2013 8:22am

@Mhelene: I know... it wasn't long he had to wait there, I don't think!

@CarineB: Thanks!

kiwisa from North Shore, New Zealand

Oh poor thing, having to wait patiently for master or mistress to return.

17 Mar 2013 7:18pm

@kiwisa: I know.... but that is what makes a dog such a wonderful companion! They are happy to see you even if you leave them in the rain :-)

Rick from Toronto, Canada

A visual with impact and lots of water !
