Keepin' On

Posted by
Mooie (Vancouver, Canada) on 31 January 2013 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

I have taken literally hundreds of photos of this view as it is the one from my balcony and nearly every day I am in awe of it. So... I've decided to start posting some intermittently. This one is taken with the hipstamatic John S lens, Ina's 1969 film... no pp

And keep on keepin' on..."

Hipstamatic 261 1/120 second F/2.4 ISO 80 5 mm

I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

(Here we go, off topic, as usual). Back in the 20's and 30's, some great artwork was done to advertise the new wonder of the age-trains. These posters had real style, and are still classics today. The colour scheme here is exactly what those artists would have admired. So to me, this has got a real 1920-30's feel to it

31 Jan 2013 4:43pm

@CElliottUK: Neat! I don't know what difference the film has, but there is another called Ina's 1982. Nothing for the 20's and 30's though... maybe I should write them a letter. Thanks for the info... but what is an age-train?
