I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Not something I would have thought of doing with a phone, but it illustrates so well how we are now able to capture that instant moment these days with an object that most of us carry around all day.

11 Oct 2012 8:40am

@Curly: Thanks and yes, it is amazing how well they can capture some things in the right conditions. Sometimes I feel their limitations, but not too often!

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

I saw the Black Keys in The Roundhouse in Camden around a year ago. Excellent gig. An alternative concept of the meaning of flying away is Randy Crawford's One Day I'll Fly Away

I make it alone,
When love is gone,
Still you made your mark,
Here in my heart.

Fly to, fly from, there's a whole world of difference

11 Oct 2012 9:19am

@CElliottUK: pulled it up on you tube... yes a very different feel to it... she's got a very unique and sublime sounding vocal! There is a big difference in flying to and flying from.... I think here I might have been trying to capture it as one... Fly from where you are, fly to me Hence the atmospheric sky. Maybe :-) Thanks a lot for the comment and introducing Randy Crawford to my musical mix!
