The day I knew quitting was the right thing for me.
This break up was long overdue
I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!
@Steve Rice: Ha, no decisions that day, but when a plant you are trying to get water to draws blood.... You have to wonder if it's trying to slap some sense into you! Thanks for your nice comment :-)
@rem_la: Merci beaucoup!
@Nicou: Merci!
@gerard1948: Thank you!
@Anna.C: Yes, I was feeling very wild and feral - Thank you!
@maurizio jaya costantino: Ha, I'm not sure what to make of that... but I thank you anyway :-)
@yalda: Thanks a lot!
@tataray: :-) oui, merci
@Basile Pesso: Thanks!
@Curly: Yup, lots of action that day :-) Resolution in that eye... and readying for the future, for sure!
@omid: Thanks a lot!
@B. Thomas: Thanks!
@CElliottUK: Sometimes you walk away, and sometimes you run :-) It was fold 'em and walk away time... thanks for your wisdom!
@SalSa: Thanks! I was kind of going for intense, but kind is acceptable :-)
@Hiro: I guess I did, thanks, Hiro!
@Melocoton: What an encouraging comment, thanks!
@maurizio jaya costantino: Thanks for sharing that... maybe not my style, but a nice positive message, you have a lovely giving heart I think!!
@yiannis krikis: Thanks!
@Rick: Thanks for the good vibes, Rick! I may have actually felt them yesterday :-) No other layers here, this day and others before there was quite literally blood, sweat and tears on the job site. This day though, I realized that I wasn't getting anything back for it.
@RBL: Thanks a lot - you too!
@Nelida De La Fuente: Thanks for your insightful words and for seeing a little magic :-)
@Rick: ;-p Aside from the triplets, I know how your friend feels.... I used to run my own show too, very much highs and lows! There is a LOT to love about the work, and in the end I know that I'm lucky enough to be able to do a job that I'm passionate about and brings me (and others, I hope!) a lot of joy. It's just my current job that wasn't a good fit... time to move on!
