When You Are Not Near

"I'm the kind who will sit up in her room
Heartsick and eyes filled up with gloom
I don't know what you've done to me...."
~ Jace Everett

I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

12 Aug 2012 6:53am

@tataray: Merci beaucoup!

Basile Pesso from City of Aminus, Paris, France

This one is also very good, but posting both one day after another is not necessarily the better possibility (for the surprise).
:)

12 Aug 2012 6:56am

@Basile Pesso: Maybe for the image alone, but to me the second one doesn't mean anything without the text and contrast to the first. ;-)

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Great tones !

@Mhelene: thank-you!

Rick from Toronto, Canada

As a heartbeat can arrive with a next thought and feeling, so too the visual and symbolic synapse. I am digging this double dose o' mood, Mooie ! (gotta read it fast, like jazz scat)

12 Aug 2012 6:04pm

@Rick: Thanks for that! I read it out loud a bunch of times before I got the groove ;-)

Baldwin VW from Bejuma, Venezuela

The title fits perfectly with the sad mood of this interesting reflection ... but I prefer yesterdays, it's more colorful and bright !!!

12 Aug 2012 7:17pm

@Baldwin VW: Thanks - me too!

RBL from Oxford, United States

Wonderful subdued mood in this photo today!

12 Aug 2012 11:58pm

Sue-Ann from Quebec, Canada

13 Aug 2012 2:22am

@Sue-Ann: I know, I prefer everything about the first image as well. But both images together depict the truth. As in life, I think, the second image makes you appreciate the first more ;-) Thanks for the comment!
