Electrocuted, November 23 1913
Aged 24

There has never been any explanation as to why I always visit this grave when I pass by this way. Someone has found him after all this time... and there's no explanation as to why that gives me calm.

I am not sure how or when, but posting on this blog has become my most accurate platform for creative expression. It's so inspiring to browse through other blogs and every comment is very appreciated!

Basile Pesso from City of Aminus, Paris, France

Here, we have an expression : "Wood cross, iron cross/ May I lie, May I go to hell".
Interesting text, looking like an X-File episode...
Do you think there's a link between him and you ?

@Basile Pesso: Hmm.... interesting expression.... I've got a feeling this character was waiting in an unhappy place for some time.... hope there is not more linking us than my imagination!

Stephen from Canberra, Australia

Beautiful treatment and haunting piece of history.

@Stephen: Thanks.... I always felt compelled to be sure the horseshoe wasn't letting all the luck run out!

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Even his grave looks charred.
Love the zippy processing for this.

@Curly: Thanks... the photo was pretty dull without a little Fotor magic! What a strange thing to be drawn to, eh?

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

A special atmosphere . It became one of your landmarks which tranquilise .

@Mhelene: It did. I have family buried in this cemetery, but I can't force myself to leave without passing by this marker.
